The Texas Hedge Fund Association (“THFA”) collects nonpublic personal information about its Members from the following sources:

• Information THFA receives from a Member through THFA’s website or otherwise;

• Information about a Member’s transactions with THFA, its affiliates, or others; and

• Information the THFA may receive from a consumer reporting agency.

THFA does not disclose any nonpublic personal information about its prospective, existing or former Members to anyone, except as permitted or required by law and regulation.

 THFA restricts access to nonpublic personal information about its Members to those employees and agents of THFA who need to know that information in order to provide services to its Members. THFA may also disclose such information to service providers and financial institutions that provide services to THFA. THFA will require such third party service providers and financial institutions to protect the confidentiality of the Members’ nonpublic personal information and to use the information only for purposes for which it is disclosed to them. THFA maintains physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with generally accepted standards to safeguard the Members’ nonpublic personal information and which THFA believes are adequate to prevent unauthorized disclosure of such information.
